Not Profit Organization encouraging reading Model of Library in Park

Project Mumbai is a registered not-for-profit and an award-winning model of public private people partnership engaged in social transformation through initiatives of scale Sustainability, Mental Health, Inclusivity and elderly care and citizen empowerment and engagement are some of the areas they work deeply in and have also been recognised by the United Nations SDG for this.

In the last five plus years since its inception, Project Mumbai has impacted over 1.6 crore lives, which is about 9 thousand people every day.

There vision is to make Mumbai the Kindness Capital of India through volunteerism. A young organization (we turned Six in September 2024), Project Mumbai has impacted over 1.7 crore lives across the various verticals–that’s nearly thirty lakh lives every year–that’s almost eight thousand lives every day.

Project Mumbai has been working with citizens of Mumbai on collection of books for setting up libraries in Mumbai Jails, and municipal gardens in Mumbai. The books are donated by citizens of Mumbai at various drop locations.
