WORLD’S YOUNGEST STORY TELLER – 7 YEARS

We all have grown up with stories; however, storytelling has primarily been a grown-up territory. But not for 7-year old Shanaya Singh holding multiple records for being the world’s youngest storyteller to have performed on national and international platforms, including Britain’s no. 1 Radio Show – Talking Stories by The East London Radio Show.

She was also chosen as the Brand Ambassador for Namaste India Magazine from Kolkata. The word of her precocious talent has travelled across the globe and earned her a place in multiple prestigious record books – The International Book of World Records, America Book of Records – to name a few.

Besides being an avid storyteller, Shanaya also loves to write stories. Her stories have been published in “Borderless Journal” – a leading magazine from Singapore. Not only this, but her writing talent was also recognized and lauded by a global writing platform – “Bookosmia”, an international writing platform that declared her “Author of the Month”.

For her outstanding feats, she was nominated for the Rashtriya Bal Puruskar. Having been significantly inspired by reading books, Shanaya aims to spread the joy of reading among other children too.

She conducts interactive online storytelling sessions for children on various platforms, motivating them to dive into the world of books and cultivate a reading habit.

She discovered her love for storytelling at the age of four when she performed in a school play and there has been no looking back since. Having created waves with her talent, she credits her success to the support of her parents and teachers, who helped her hone her talent.
